Father Shijo was born in Tellichery in 1985. He is from St Joseph’s Church Vayalada in the Diocese of Thamarassery. Completed his school studies at St Mary’s school Kallanode. After SSLC joined in the Vincentian minor seminary in 2020. Did his plus two studies and completed Novitiate at Meenangadi. He did this philosophical studies at De Paul Institute Bangalore and completed bachelor of arts from Bangalore University. He had done regency at De Paul school Shrirampur in Maharashtra. Then he was sent for his theological studies in St. Joseph’s Pontifical Seminary Mangalapuzha. He was ordained on 28 December 2011 by Late Mar Paul Chittilapilli. He completed masters of arts in Christian studies from madras university . He was appointed as the member of popular mission and assistant to vocation promoter immediately after his ordination. He was appointed as the vice rector, member of Popular Mission and finance officer of Vincentian Minor seminaries in kerala from 2012 to 2015. Later he was sent for his higher studies in Mangalore University and was appointed as the assistant director and finance officer of divine prayer centre in Mangalore. He completed masters in political science in first rank from the university(2015-2017). Nextly he was appointed as the parish priest of saint joseph church Aurangabad Maharashtra in the diocese of shamshabad(2017-2020). He secured an online course certificate from Harvard University in the sphere of Climate Studies in 2020. After that he served as the administrator of De Paul Public school kopargaon in Maharashtra from 2020 to June 2022. And from July 2022 onwards is working as the parish priest of saint Thomas church janakpuri in Faridabad Diocese.
